Kalkan Apartment Construction

The process for our design and construction is the same regardless of whether we are building apartments or villas. We work with local architects who are familiar with the Kalkan area and building restrictions and use local craftsmen throughout the construction process. We site manage each project personally to ensure the quality of the build and to make certain the finishing touches are exactly per the customers requirements which you can check our progress through our regular updates and photographs to you. We pay particular attention to detail as we strive for perfection throughout.

Building regulations stipulate construction can only take place in Kalkan out of season (November to May) so as not to disturb the peace and tranquillity of Kalkan.

These 2 and 3 bedroom apartments were all sold off-plan due to the location, size and assured quality of the development. All our properties are signed off by the local council and are fully certified for habitation.

Early first stages of 'dig out' excavation on the land for the Gardenia Apartments. We were very particular in reaching and indeed exceeding the regulation minimum strengthening rods in the laying of the foundations for a super strong structure.   We maintained each floor of the build in compliance with the regulated concrete mix and 'waiting' period prior to the next level up. These walls are of natural stone and were worked on by local men who know and understand the strength of each stone hand laid.
  This is an art within itself therefore it was important to contract the right skilled persons for the 'job' as aesthetically and professionally this is the last layer of the building insulation prior to painting. It is of course important to use the correct insulation and during all stages of the build insulation materials were used to maintain a 'sound' building from the foundations through to the final stages.

We chose natural stone for the ground floor apartment to blend with the boundary walls which are also natural stone, thus creating a more aesthetically pleasing building. Once the exterior has dried out, good quality exterior paint is applied to the smooth finish insulated plaster. The colour used here again is a neutral colour and is in keeping with the rest of the development.

A good pool is the essence of a relaxed day, so time is taken to create a swimming pool that is thoroughly insulated, tiled well with a good standard pump and water flow. It is fundamentally important to have a pool 'water tight' so good insulation is a priority and of course a keen eye is necessary for the final tile laying for a good looking pool .

The interior appearance and finish is vitally important too, therefore top brand names were used for the floor and wall ceramics throughout also the bathroom and kitchen fitments & accessories including electrics and plumbing's all complying to high standards and safety.
  The gardens, boundary walls and gates cannot be missed out, they give the comfort zone to any 'home'. The final touches of a good quality under & top layers of paint, stone cladding with quality insulation and wrought iron railing complying with the regulated width size for safety.
 

At the final stage of the build of the Gardenia Apartments it received the appropriate certificates necessary to prove it has been built to the approved architectural plans and is habitable and 'signed' off by the local council.
